Privacy policy
We collect the minimum needed to sell and deliver storage, and we do not sell or share it for marketing.
What we collect
When you order: your name, email, phone, delivery and billing address and the items purchased. Payment details are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout and never reach our servers; we hold only a payment reference. When you contact us: the details you provide in the message.
Analytics
We run our own first-party analytics using an anonymous identifier stored in a cookie. It records pages viewed, products viewed, carts and purchases on this site only. No advertising networks, no cross-site tracking, no third-party analytics scripts.
How we use it
To fulfil orders, send order emails, handle warranty and support, and understand which products people look at. We email you about your order; we do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask.
Who we share it with
Stripe (payment), our shipping carriers (delivery), our email provider (order emails) and Synology's Australian distributor when a warranty claim requires it. Each receives only what it needs for that purpose.
Storage and security
Data is stored on servers in Australia, encrypted in transit, with access limited to staff who need it. Order records are kept for seven years to meet tax obligations.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing us. We respond within 30 days. Complaints can be raised with us first and then with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
