Plus or Enterprise?

HAT3300 Plus drives (4TB to 20TB) are rated for 24/7 NAS duty in homes and small offices with a 180TB per year workload and a three-year warranty. HAT5300 and HAS5300 Enterprise drives carry a 550TB per year workload rating, a five-year warranty and are the only option Synology lists for its xs+, SA and FS models.

Why Synology-branded drives

Synology tests each drive firmware against its NAS models and delivers updates through DSM, so a drive never falls off the compatibility list. On 25-series Plus models and all rackmounts, storage pools can only be created on listed drives. Mixing capacities is fine with SHR; mixing Plus and Enterprise in one pool is not recommended.
