Cache or storage?

SNV3410 and SNV5420 M.2 NVMe drives fit the cache slots on Plus, xs+ and RackStation models. Two of them in a read-write cache take the sting out of random I/O for databases, virtual machines and busy file shares. On 25-series models they can also form their own all-flash storage pool. SAT5221 2.5-inch SATA drives build all-flash volumes in standard bays and are rated at 1.3 drive writes per day for five years.
